Barbara Bogdanowicz

Chief of Staff

Barbara Bogdanowicz is the Chief of Staff of the In Her Shoes Foundation. In this role, she is accountable for planning and directing all administrative, financial, and operational activities in support of Founder and Executive Director, Kasia Wereszczynska. Barbara has eight years of experience driving successful financial results as a Global Sales Account Executive for Delta Air Lines, and five years of experience at Air France Airlines as Marketing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.

Barbara’s passion for languages, multiculturalism, and travel fueled a very successful airline career where she negotiated with C-Suite and procurement leaders at multinational corporations to win market share from the competition. She served a two-year term on the board of the Global Business Travel Association, Chicago Chapter, and volunteered as Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and Chair of the Annual Golf Fundraiser Committee.

Barbara discovered her “inner teacher” while mentoring DePaul University students seeking entry into the airline and hospitality industries. The opportunity to use her multilingual skills as a female sales executive in combination with her effectiveness as a mentor and teacher led Barbara to join the mission of In Her Shoes Foundation, where she is eager to orchestrate growth and support for the next generation of female executives.

Barbara, a Chicago native, earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in French Business Studies at the University of Illinois.
